The main spot is located right in front of the hotel and sport centre. It is the first thing you would be looking at when you wake up every morning in your bungalow.
This spot is considered as one of the best in the world to learn and improve your kitesurfing/windsurfing skills thanks to the constant wind and shallow waters.
We also have a wide range of sports activities for those no wind days such as catamarans, SUP, kayak, wakeboard and even swimming with dolphins if you get lucky!
Remember that this area is where the action takes place on the windy days, hence swimming is not recommended. Don’t hesitate to ask the sports centre front desk for more information!
The Dragon Island is a big dune of sand and rocks that is being moulded by the wind into a dragon shape when you look from the side.
The dragon island faces Dakhla Attitude Hotel and watches out for all the action happening in the main spot during the day, while it provides sweet dreams at night.
The hotel offers boat trips to the Island or, if you have the energy for it, you can also access the island by walk or swim on low tide. Don’t be afraid of climbing up and get amazed with the beautiful and panoramic views from the top!
If you visit the Dragon Island, make sure to bring along a pair of shoes with you, as the sand is full of shells. Remember to choose one of the shells and take it with you, this means that soon you will be back!
Dragon Island (boat crossing) – 20€
The speed spot is located 200m away from the Dragon Camp on the east side. Once you get to know the spot, you will understand perfectly well why everybody calls it “the speed spot”.
Are you a kitesurfer or windsurfer spending a lot of time looking for flat spots to travel? Stop searching, you hit the jackpot! With an extension of about 2km and only on low tide, emerges a small dune of 40cm which provides the perfect flat and deep water for speed, high jumps and fast trick improvements with pure offshore wind.
The Speed Spot is for experienced riders only! You can get there by walking 15min through the beach or by hiring our tractor service at the sport center, that will take you there and pick you up when you finish your session.

The White Dune, “Dune Blanche” or “Duna Blanca” is the most famous attraction to visit in Dakhla peninsula. It is a very big dune of pure white sand that goes into the lagoon and creates its very own small lagoon inside.
It’s a beautiful place to take pictures, roll down the dune, try new tricks in the lagoon, and for those experienced kitesurfers even jump from the top of it. To get to the White Dune you must do a downwind from Dakhla Attitude going through unforgettable desert terrain and stunning landscapes. You can get back from the White Dune by boat or 4×4, and on the way back you can stop in the oyster farm and taste the famous Dakhla Oysters along with some fine wine.
Almost every kitesurfer that comes to the hotel does the known downwind to the white dune that takes about 3h riding plus transport. We strongly recommend it! Refer to the sport centre front desk for more information!

WAVES SPOTS
The nearest wave spot from Dakhla Attitude is Pointe de l’Or. In about 20 minutes you can be riding waves on the Atlantic Ocean.
A desert sand beach with a rocky point creates a beautiful small clear water bay where you may only see one or two fisherman therefore, the waves are there for the taking.

Right at the entrance of Dakhla town, Dakhla Attitude opened in March 2017 a beautiful surf chill-out style hotel called Westpoint. Right in front of the world class wave spot Oum Lamboiur, where you can enjoy amazing wave conditions, perfect side to side offshore moderate wind, beautiful long and glassy rights breaking over the point…
An awesome playground to have fun and enjoy some sessions with kite/wind wave equipment or even renting a surfboard or a SUP at our sport centre.
And after the session, come and enjoy the beautiful views all over the spot.
La Sarga is a fisherman village on the south of the peninsula of Dakhla. This spot located on the Atlantic coast and as most of the spots in Dakhla, we have perfect surfing conditions with waves breaking to the right and long periods of 8-10s. This is a perfect spot for surfing and also for wave kitesurfing. Wind is side offshore and the landscape is just breath taking. La Sarga is almost 45km away from Dakhla Attitude Hotel but when there is good swell, a surf excursion to this spot is a must!
